Clicking after seafoaming
I just seafoamed my motor, and i also did it and had the same thing happen to my accord...
After i cleaned it out, puttin git in the oil, gas, and throttle body, it now makes much more of an audible *honda lifter click thing*...
Anyone else had this experience?
Also how loud is a normal lifter clicking suposed to be, i can have my car running and hear it ticking a long ways away if its quiet outside, but i had the same thing with my accord, which was newer (94), less miles (125k) and had a valve adjustment, and it was louder than my current car, how loud is it suposed to be?
Thanks

No, havnt had a chance, i want to do it myself and just dont think i can find the time till summer hits...But on both cars i have done this to it seems to get louder after seafoaming, has anyone else had this happen?
The reason it probably gets louder, is not necessarily because seafoam is screwing things up.
Seafoam clears out carbon deposits, which act as an insulator. Without them in their insulating and sheilding noise, it could potentially get louder.
