Default clicking noise

recently I have been able to hear a clicking or tapping sound from under the hood when I accelerate at low speeds. It's really quite and I cant hear it when I go fast or it simply stops. Does anyone have any ideas of the source?

No.
He's talking about a clicking sound when he accelerates.
Could be his valves.

Yup, you might need a valve job.
I take it you're driving a 90 Accord. Accords are infamous when it comes to ticking valves.

I've heard of guys doing the job themselves, but I would not recommend that.
I think you can get the job done for under $200.

I think they adjust the valve clearances. I'm not too sure, but if you do a search, you should come up with something.

Honda will adjust your valves for around 60-70 bucks I wouldnt recomend doing it yourself cuz you could jack up your motor if you do it to tight. Then again you could get a torque wrench and a helmes manual. good luck
