Tie rod end
I have a question about tie rod end, last week i was taking a slow rite turn and lucky for me i was going slow, me left wheel went the rite and the left well inward(left). I got out and found the tie rod end had come out. So i tow it to my house it was like midnite. Anyway now my question is the following :
1- Where does the tie rod end goes i mean on top or bottom of the wheel
assembly u know the part that holds the brake and and the wheel(sorry for my
lack of technical terms) On top there's s screw with a pin and at the bottom
there's a lil rubber thingy. And to change it what will I have to change (hope i
am clear enuf)
2-I want to order some red/clear for 92-93 accord on ebay and it looks like it's gonna be from procarparts. Anybody from Canada ever order from them.?

I think the end of the tie rod goes upwards thru the steering knuckle. The knuckle is the big casting that holds the wheel bearing, including that arm going backwards for the tie rod.
Just look at the other side to see how it goes together...

the tie rods on my 94 accord (assume same for 90-93) go from thru the knuckle from the bottom; meaning the cotter pin is on top, and the rubber boot is on the bottom side.
you need to check though if its only the end that is damaged. if your inner tie rod was pulled/stripped off of the rack, you would have to replace that too. its easier if you have access to a repair manual w/ pictures

Actually the tie rod is not damaged i think what i see at the end of the tie rod is a lil pin pointing upwards and a hollow shape at the bottom.
The reason is i don't feel like putting the wheel back on jacking up the other side and taking the wheel off :-)
