the tie rods on my 94 accord (assume same for 90-93) go from thru the knuckle from the bottom; meaning the cotter pin is on top, and the rubber boot is on the bottom side.

you need to check though if its only the end that is damaged. if your inner tie rod was pulled/stripped off of the rack, you would have to replace that too. its easier if you have access to a repair manual w/ pictures
