Default Fluidyne is it worth it

Is it worth gettin a fluidyne radiator...cause if i do i would have to get rid of the A/C cause no room for the fans....the turbo gets in the way....Also engine mounts do i really need them?????

A lot of people get pusher fans and put them on the front. Or, maybe you have enough room for a slim fan.

Are you talking about mounts or the inserts? I only put the front two inserts in, and I noticed a difference. Power transfer seems more direct and responsive. I'd imagine the effect would be more pronounced if all three inserts were in, or if the stock mounts were replaced alltogether with polyurethane mounts. For $25 or so, the inserts are cheap and you'll notice the difference. I think NRG Racing makes complete front torque mount replacements that look pretty nice, I think they run around a bill or so.

Yeah i tried the slim fan still not enough room...there were goin to have to put them infront thats why i would have to get rid of the A/C components to make room for the fans in the front...

I was thinkin about gettin the mounts.....but would the inserts be sufficient.....???

Well, the inserts are only like $25 or so, so I would get those and see if they're stiff enough for you. If you don't like em, you can get the mounts later on. I noticed a bit more vibration fromt he engine being transmitted to the chassis with my inserts, but nothing major, and I soon got used to it. I would imagine mounts would vibrate more, but that's how you know they're working

You could switch to a Civic radiator set and run side by sides.

A dual core aluminum Civic radiator should be able to keep things cool on a B series turbo engine. I have a PWR radiator, it's a nice unit, costs a bit less than the Fluidyne too. I have an SOHC, though.

There's a lot of high power drag cars that use the Civic radiator for weight reasons.

are you having problems now with overheating with you stock radiator set-up?

whats is the reason that you are looking into getting an aftermarket radiator?
