Well, the inserts are only like $25 or so, so I would get those and see if they're stiff enough for you. If you don't like em, you can get the mounts later on. I noticed a bit more vibration fromt he engine being transmitted to the chassis with my inserts, but nothing major, and I soon got used to it. I would imagine mounts would vibrate more, but that's how you know they're working
