Why do my spark plugs look like this?

Default Why do my spark plugs look like this?

only 8 months old NGK iridium plugs.

Also my gas milage hasnt been all that great 250 when i used to get 315 on my 94 teg

looks like oil to me... do a compression test, you might have bad rings. Hows the car running? White smoke?

felt slick like oil, white smoke??? dont think I have seen any, sometimes it smells gassy, (too rich) So what need to be done again, compression test? anything else?

it looks like oil leaking to me.. I have a chart on the wall with all the pictures of different ailments and what your sparkplug will look like. I think white's right.

might be as simple as those spark plug grommets that are there when you take off your valve cover mine had that problem replaced those grommets and it was fine but on the other hand it might be bad rings or your head gasket blew out. my problem was for only one spark plug.

if its bad rings, you'll need a rebuild, or you can just continue feeding it oil until it dies... lets hope thats not it :happysad:
