Default obd1 vs obd2

i posted in hybrid but no reply, so im trying here.

is there any difference in obd1 and obd2 distributor, alternator and fuel rails/injectors? because I'm doing a swap b18c (obd1) into a 5Gen. and needed a distributor, alternator and fuel rails/injectors, but i could get them from a 98 gsr. Would it make a difference?

Thanks

Yes, there is a difference in the distributor and injectors. Not so sure about the alternator or the fuel rail though

I would venture to say no.

I know they're different, but I haven't really sat down and compared them

OBD1/OBD2 injectors are interchangable but have different plugs.
OBD1/OBD2 distributors are interchangable but have different plugs.
OBD1/OBD2 alternators are interchangable but have different plugs.
