Street Racing
I personally have my own views on street racing, I would never race in an area with traffic, I would only do it in an empty lot or somewhere completely empty, however since the forums rules have disallowed discussion of it I will follow the rules. It's that simple, either follow the rules or leave. Thats that. I choose to stay because the positives heavily outweigh the negatives. I can discuss "Street Racing" with people elsewhere. This place owns by the way, i've learned a lot already.

And again, since you all seem so concerned about me changing the TOS to prevent your opinions.. think a little bit.. why would I waste my time doing something so childish and.. well.. stupid?

I've had conversations with other moderators on this subject. I state my opinions, and reasons for... and they do the same. However, they respond with something more thought provoking then "umm... no."

Ok, how mature would this have been?

Now, would you like me to right a thesis on how to F' yourself, or would it perhaps have been better to have just kept such useless comments to myself?

I think I'm done with this discussion with you since it obviously doesn't accomplish anything.
theres nothing wrong with streetracing... just as many people die from normal everyday driving, if not more. no one is purposely looking to "kill" someone in a streetrace, its just an unfortunate accident like anything else
take some time to think about what i said

It's certainly true that I feel safer at Summit Point on the track w/20 other drivers who have at least an inkling of what they're doing than I feel in the evening commute on Route 66.However, we as a Crown or society have the right to expect that citizens will obey the law, and we pursue our activities in the assumption that we have a reasonable certainty that citizens are obeying the law.
Therefore, although I take your point well that daily driving is dangerous by itself and that street racers certainly do not mean to kill other people or themselves, the fact remains that an average citizen could very well end up being the dead victim of a street race because he has the right to look to his left before he pulls out, and make the logical assumption that the two cars headed his way are travelling the speed limit.
You do, in fact, lose the right of way if you are engaging in a contest of speed in every state of the Union.
If you are engaging in a contest on public roads, any damage you cause is your responsibility, even if someone looked right at you before pulling out in front of you.
This is just one of the many scenarios that causes irrepairable, almost unthinkable damage to life and limb when people engage in street racing.
Perhaps if you had ever seen the carnage of battle, you would never wish that scene or smell on anyone around you.
We really must reject your argument as less than thoroughly considered.
Yeah... I personally sometimes 'do' race, but I would really rather go to a track... however the only one around here has been closed so I haven't had a chance to... when it re-opens im there! Track racing is a lot better, Street Racing is dangerous... I admit it, im an idiot for every doing it, but thats just me. I am cutting down, the Admins are right, it IS stupid!!!!!
