Ya I didn't notice the typo till I got called on it........embarasing. Anyway it was indeed a blown 308 and it was a fast car........makes mine look like a baby. I'm not doing a thing to my engine, I'm saving the cash to get a 351 or 460 so I will make that kind of power someday. Till then I'll prepare the tranny and rear end to handle that type of engine.
moving up to a 351 EFI? A buddy of mine recently went that route. Expensive but a massive and powerful motor it is. Good story btw.

Ya I know, they are an awesome motor. You simply can not beat a built 351 on the street no matter what you drive.......unless it's a built Chevy 350 or Dodge Hemi, in which case there is so much power involved that the race wil most likely be had on the 1/4 mile. It will be a while before I drop the money for one but I'm leaving the engine all stock till then.
