Default swaps

i rock an 86 crx si, but i need an engine with more power....i was thinkin of swapin to a zc or atleast the 91 style 1.6l si motor....but i need some suggestions on what to do and if the motor mounts are the same and if it will work

You would need a browntop. It bolts in.

Can't be done. The older EW/D15A type engines have different mount points.

are the wiring harnessess the same or will they need some work too....
hey pat i thought u were banned...and i already started my body work...but im not worried about that right now...speed is the issue

Harnesses of what and what? If you get a ZC, you should get the harness with it.

:nono: to multiple posts that don't help.

You can put in pretty much any engine you want into a first gen, and there will probably be mount kits to let you do it. The brown top ZC is popular, the single cam VTECs not so much. You could even throw in any B-series that you want [minus the B20a]. Of course, with any swap you're going to need/want better suspension to cope with the weight, but you can get that stuff too.

Wiring harness stuff will depend mostly on what engine you use and what OBD series it is.

do they make after market torsion bars for my rex.....cuz i know they have atleast dampers for the front and definitely for the back

Yep. www.opmmotorsports.com has stock, stiff, and teeth jarring options.
