Code 1 is primary o2 sensor.

Here's the b16 Helms manual diagnostic procedure (This will be pretty long):

Turn off motor.

Remove hazard fuse from main fusebox for 10 secs to reset ECU.

Disconnect your primary o2 sensor.

Start motor, warm up to normal operating temp.

Measure voltage between o2 connector terminal & body ground.

Check the voltage at WOT (wide open throttle) - is it at 0.6v or higher? Also check the voltage during closed throttle deceleration from 5k rpm's - is it at 0.4v or less? If the answer to both these is yes, your wiring is ok but the o2 sensor itself is bad, replace it with a NGK or NTK o2 sensor.

If the voltage is off, you're going to have to check for a short somewhere between the ECU at pin C16 and the o2 sensor.

Also if the voltage is off, it'd be a good idea to substitute a known good ECU & check to see if you get a code. If not, your ECU is bad.

Hope this helps,
Eric
