Default throwing ecu code 9

what would cause this code

Code 9 _____ No. 1 cylinder position (only on 1.6L)

on hf ecu with zc engine? or will it not allow me to use this ecu at all? new one coming in a few days but i want to fire it up now

ok fixed that problem blue wire connector wasnt pushed in all the way now what are the correct way for the distributor wires to the plugs? how are they attached? motor isnt starting

and ive got way too many (3 extra vacume hoses) where do they go or which ones do u get rid of?

Ok on the fire wall you will see a black thing with vacuum hoses coming off of it. The hose for the Map sensor (a black box with the hose coming out facing downward, it will say MAP SENSOR on it if you look hard enough) that hose goes to the little tube sticking out of the top of your Throttle Body. On my car there was only one other hose and that was a hose coming out of an emissions valve or something (a black cylinder looking thing near the MAP sensor) and I just left that unplugged. I'm going to look for a picture.
