Default weird tranny whine

I just got my b16a1 about to months ago, for the first month and 1/2 i had a hesitation problem with the oxygen sensors being switched, i would to have to give it about 20% throttle for it to stop hesitating. After i fixed that i've been noticing this faint whine between 35 and 52 mph, its the loudest at about 10% throttle, but sounds like it goes away when i floor it, it will do it if i'm in neutral or in any gear, as long as im between 35 and 52mph. I have not clue what it could be and if i should be worried any suggestions would be great.

my clutch grabs fine. I feel no loss in power or hesitation in the tranny. The tranny was with the motor when i got it

i have the same thing going on with my b16a and S2 transmission. It only happened in 4th a very little, almost undetectable and in 5th it happened a little louder. i believe its just because of the way that the gears are cut in the transmission. there a bit straighter so they make a little more noise. hope this helps, and if im wrong some one tell me.

If it helps my buds 94 teg (B18B1) makes a whine noise while accelerating. At first I thought he had a device to make you think he had a turbo, but then it dissapeared quickly. Maybe just norm? Run the hell out of it and see what breaks???

driving my gf's altima when i accelerate hard in first gear it whines almost like a turbo and goes faster with quicker acceleration and higher rpms in the lower gears, not sure if its from the tranny or something else but its always been like that and its running just fine and has been for years so hopefully you have nothing to worry about but if ur tranny dropps tomorrow don't blame me
