Which is odd since CRX was light so why does it need the beefy brakes over say a Sedan.

no...i was wrong about what other models had rear discs (the sedan and hb don't have them)...easiest car for you to find is a 90-93 integra (all came with rear discs...which is where i got mine from)...all you need to do is take off the rear lower control arm wtih evyerthing attached (cut the brake hose but also take the rear parking brake cable all the way to the actual lever inside the car (it's just 2 skinny cables)

If you have a CRX you will need CRX 90-91 CRX Si ebrake cables, the Integra and Civic ones are longer. It would be in your best interest to just get everything from an CRX Si.

you can use the teg cables if you get it from one...you just have to route the cable a little differently b/c there it is longer and there will be some extra slack

you can't switch cables b/c they are connected so you are stuck w/ whatever cables are attached to the rears

it would be wise getting exactly from another crx si but they are much rarer than 90-93 tegs which much more abundant

Yes you can, the cables are attached to the calipers. You are supposed to punch them out I guess but a lot of them are seized. I just drilled out the metal part and put a screw in to hold it for the new calipers...

What about for a 91 Civic DX HB? Or is there an AEM Kit for that?
