How many times are we going to debate this! I have a ZC turbo now but it is coming out for a fully built LS Turbo. I have found out that the ZC won't hold the HP I want, so I want to keep the non-Vtec, but want BIG power. Even fully built a ZC turbo tipically won't handle more than 300-350hp and I want 400+.

The bottom line is how much HP do you want? I have gone through 2 ZCs (I am on my 3rd now) and I am tired. If you want moderate HP than the ZC is great. If you want BIG hp then you need B series.

ZC's are great bang for the buck. But in the long run, for the serious enthusiast, any B series motor will out perform, out last, and out satisfy a ZC. Hondas B series motors are the best damn motors they have ever built, IMO.

I am not sure. I am waiting on the LS to show up and get built, and I have no clue how long that is going to take. We do have a full ZC swap with axles, ECU and it is in a parts car that ran not too long ago so it hasn't been sitting in a junkyard in Japan forever. I'm sure that we will be selling that soon.

I was gonna get the zc motor at first. so I went around to some of the tuners in my area (inline pro, nu-image and vertex) and they all laughed at me askin what in the world I wanted that motor and that I would never beat anybody. Anyway after they stoped laughing they told me they couldn't and wouldn't waist their time with one. So my feelings were hurt and I saved and got a b16 and never could be happier. I rode in a few zc motors and wasn't impressed. I beat a few with the d16 motor and kept up with a few. Watched a few b16 rex's go againts zc rex's and never looked back since.

Think about it though. The local shops are there to make money. Which swap will cause you to swap out the most dough? Hummmmm... could be why they laughed at the ZC swap.
