but the B20 is a 2.0L which is what i wanted (more torque to the wheels) im just wondering if the B18 head would fit and provide more function from the block

Yea, itll fit... Infact thats the only way to run that engine in a 4thgen or CRX (or so I heard)... Atleast the intake manifold and ECU from a B18... But honestly, unless your going CR-VTEC, I would just do a GSR swap... Youll be plenty happy... The torque those produce would be just waay to much, without having mad wheel spin... Which means more money in the suspension... Then youll also be snapping axles left and right... (again, what i heard)

original poster: you never differentiated between b18b or b18c heads

ok, im a little confused, are you talking about putting a vtec head on the b20 block : b16 or b18c. Or are you talking about putting a non vtec head: b18b on a b20. Is there even a difference between the b18b and the b20 heads????

actually, i have heard that the B20 does produce enough torque to snap the axles. I think a B18 w/ Turbo should be good. My friend had a B20 with a B18 head, and he snapped 4 axles in 2 years running high 9's so im just gonna keep this shit practical and just go with the B18

teh b20 and b18b heads are the exact same, you just have to use the b18b intake manifold and ecu.

Plus the B18 header which flows better (which i also hear u have to use on the B20 to work)... I dont know if its waay too much, but Ive def heard more than one instance of the axles on this type of setup snapping... But either way, he will still have wheel hop (I realize I said spin before, but I mean hop since wheel spin can be controlled with launch technique) without serious suspension mods...
