Default Intake coupler?

I've got an aftermarket intake on my 91 crx si. Does anybody know where you can buy the coupler that connects the tube to the intake itself? Preferably a yellow one. Mine is cracking apart and fixing to break. I see them at parts places only sold with the whole intake kit which i don't need. Thanks for any info.

Just search the 'net for silicone coupling hose. It's usually sold by the foot.

Alrighty then. Thanks for the help. I did the search and found no yellow tubing. I then went to Pep boys and found it for 6.99. They did not have it last time i went. It was in their ricer section. It was just a straight 3 inch black hose coupler. It came with an instert to make it fit the 2 and a 1/2 inch intake on the motor. Man, it barely sqeezed up under the fuel line thing because the insert makes it thicker. I really need the 2 and 1/2 inch on one end and 3 inch on the other like the one i had that dry rotted. So, there is obviously no place on the internet or Auto parts store that sells these things without buying the whole intake kit? I would love a yellow one that's 3 inches on one end and 2 and 1/2 on the other. Also, while i'm on the subject, would the cold air intake make my car alot faster than just the regular aftermarket intake that has the filter under the hood like i have? If so, i may get it. And one more question. If i got a cold air intake for my 91 si stock motor, would it fit the b-16a motor when and if i eventually get it? I saw some guy with a ghetto cold air intake made from pvc pipe about 2 years ago. It was a crx with a dual overhead cam engine. Back then i did'nt know what they were called, b-16a, zc, etc. I do remeber his was not the zc, but it was a dual overhead cam. When he left, he smoked the front tires like i've never seen a crx do.

I went on to google.com, typed in "silicone reducer," and a yellow 3"->2.5" popped up in the second result.

$16 each.

Please stop inserting a hyphen in B16A. Thanks.

Appreciate it. You an alright guy. I guess i just did'nt take the time or not smart enough, heh, to do the search on google. Oh, and thanks. I always thought it was b-16a. Not b16a. I will eventually have one though because i doubt i will ever sell this Honda. So much in the stereo and I had a crx when i was 16 and now i'm almost an old fart. Yeh, and that reminds me, i need to update my cardomain thing. I've got an awsome head unit now in it.

There's always a ton on ebay from time to time. Any local import store can order them for you, and a lot of time have the common ones in stock.

Why don't you just phone the order in, or pay by mail?

It really doesn't make much of a difference CAI or not. It will not fit a B16a, the TB diameter is bigger.
