AHHHHH...help!
i have a LSD tranny on a B16a1 and it looks as if the speedo on the tranny is electronic and my car has a old school cable of some sort. what up with that? what to do ? also on my stock harness(1990 crx hf) i have a connector that went to the EGR on the d-series motor but i don't have that connection on the b16. whats up with that too? please help i need it!
don't worry about the egr valve...with the proper ecu it will ignore that signal (won't affect performance)...just tie down the wire and vacumm lines to keep it out of the way
your speedo should be mechanical (spins to calculate mph) and you should just stick the point into the tranny...r u looking at the backup sensors that are wires?

probably...what are backup sensors...i don't have any connections for that. and yes the cable sticks in the tranny but my cable is too short...will have to get a new one. will the pr3 ecu work with no egr...like you said?

if your speedo cable is too short see if you can find some slack in the cable b/c it should still fit...if not then scour for some 90-93 teg speedo cables (though i'm not sure if they are longer or how hard it would be to take them out)
the car will run fine w/o egr...it is b/c you are using another ecu that doens't require it and won't register its operation
the last thing that bothers me is that you said that my speedo cable shouls fit...but i need like another 14 inches to make it work. the plug in for it on the old motor is in the back on the tranny...but the lsd tranny it is in the front...is something messed up? also still can't find any connectors for the backup sensor...? thanks for your help!

take several of the overall tranny (i.e. front, back, sides, etc if you can)
take a pic of the speedometer input on the tranny (then zoom out to show how the cable won't reach...it should...that's the prob)
take a pic of the tranny stamp it's either a stamp in the actual metal itself (b16a trannies) or will be on a small metal plate attached to the tranny (like on my crx si l3 d series tranny)
