yeah .what kind of header? i have a dc 4 into 1 header and it rubed on the front cross memeber really bad. It would make this shitty rubbing noise and it was kinda like a jack hammer.i took a die drinder and started shaving it.little by little.just makie sure you dont cut the auctual thick part of the frame because it will weaken your whole crossmember.i just shaved the inside lip that was coming off of it and its ok now.it still kinda rubs from time to time but no big deal.

it is a ractive header...and in order for me to attatch the other half to the header i would have to cut a BIG chunk out of the crossmember ... not just the lip.. the actual thick part... I was told the header was for a b18 and got it from a friend.. he has a chikara one too... should i try that one? maybe i can get a pic of it up.. thanks

A B18* header is going to be about 10mm taller then a B16A header, which can cause clearance issues. Don't cut up the crossmember, that's an important structural part of the car.

sh!t my header is dragging.it was off of a gsr and i thought i would have the right clearence, wrong.well hopefully it will all soon be gone with my friend mr t3/t4 turbo.
personally if i could go back in time i would stick with the stock exhaust manifold.trust me unless you have mods out the ass.the truth is your not going to notice any power gains.and in a lot of cases you loose power.yeah it frees up exhaust gasses and lets it flow better.but honda put the stock exhaust mani on there for a reason, because it gets the job done to the best that they wanted.aside from the fact that it is a little heavier i would just leave it on there and save your self the truble.

no,with a stock exhaust manifold it will not rub.it will not even come close.
you should be able to use the b18 manifold no problem.your down pipe is probobaly going to need to be extended if you use though because the manifold end on the b18s are about a foot shorter than the b16's

If you use a stock manifold, it will need custom pipe regardless... which means you can make it fit.
