Default Woot bought a running crx si for 300 bucks...

This morning I went to buy a 89 Crx Si that I saw an ad for, the guy want 350 obo. I talked him down to 300 bucks. The car runs great, the body is ok it's not great it will be painted in two-three months, almost complete interior. Just missing a rear cargo cover and center divider.

First crx that I've bought that actually comes with a cd player too. Not sure what kind. Sunroof even works perfectly. First thing I checked out was the sunroof. However the damn clutch is slipping and is going to need to be replaced, car is going to stay stock for now and just get a maintence done. Car is black, overall I got a pretty good deal on this car. Guy could have easily sold the car for like 1700 bucks, since he was moving to NYC he needed to sell it quick so I jumped all over it. Complete exterior, everything works wonderfully. I'll try and get pics but I don't have a digi cam. Jesus this is my fourth crx si. I've only owned crx si's. This is like the first one I've owned, I'm glad to basically have the car back. Tranny shifts nice and smooth. :woowoo: :woowoo:

I bought mine for $500 in great shape and my clutch is shit too.
I'm too poor/lazy to fix it so I'm just waiting for the B16a.
I could've talked the lady down to almost nothing if I had know about half the problems.

good find though, i'm only on my first. h:

Yeah really I agree with you on that. I have the title in hand. It's clean title as well. The miles are still low which is a good thing. I'm really going to enjoy this thing. I don't plan on selling it either unless a really good offer comes along I'm keeping it. Yeah this guy was moving to NYC so he had to get rid of it asap. I found a really good deal. Nothing is broken on it or anything everything is intact. I just need to find a cargo cover and center divider.

It will need new shocks and struts soon as well as a clutch like I said but that'll have to wait for awhile. I'm broke now. I'll possibly do a motor swap on it later but right now the motor runs great and it's the stock d16a6 motor. Everything complete with the motor as well. If I'm correct these cars still go for about 2k or more depending on the condition?
