OK, you need to list way more details then that. This makes no sense.

a '97 engine is OBD-II.

A P75 ECU is OBD-I or II depending on year.

The "DX" ECU and stock harness is OBD-0, not to mention it's DPFI.

What exacly are you trying to do? Run an OBD-II engine with an OBD-I/II computer with a DPFI OBD-0 harness?

Wrong section, this is pre-92.

I'm guessing the engine will spin, but not fire with the P75. Is the ECU known to be good? The EX harness shouldn't be needed, since it only has a couple extra provisions for the VTEC system which isn't even needed on a B18B. Is it throwing any codes?

The EX wiring harness is nearly identical, so no, it won't magically fix the problem.

Once again, I'll ask: Is the P75 known to be good?

how about u just go by all the matching equipment or is that just too easy of a solution? correct me if i'm wrong but every if u have a 97 LS integgy motor, shouldn't u use the same exact wiring harness with the adaptor kit?

no not really keebler... the ex harness should work fine..the engine id bod2 in a obd2 car... so there is no problem with the harness or components... it is probablly most likely the computer... check it and make sure it works

So to properly check if the ECU is operational he would need to find an Integra with the same transmission as his Civic, auto/manual.

Yes or No.
In other words do Ecu's from autos work on manual vehicles.
