I change the IACV sensor and i pugged in the LS ECU and it seems to idle fine but when i went to drive I step on the gas and it shut off what could it be now? just got the ECU from a local junkyard maybe they gave me and automatic one instead of a manual one How do tell if auto or maual its a P75a03 Ithink i have to double check that
I personally don't buy ECUs from a junkyard unless I am the one who pulls it out, or I watch it get pulled out to avoid problems just like this. I don't even remember how to tell the difference without trying them... go to an Acura dealer and ask them to look up the part number. That will give you the answer fast.
i agree with kai... go to acura.com and find a dealer near you and ask them to check the ecu... also since you went from dpfi to mpfi did you remember to switch the wires at the tps???? just a question to check...good luck!!!
