My gas pedal stick and its very annoying. It happens when I try to give it just a little throttle to launch or cruise down the road, like less than 1/4 throttle. It makes it very difficult to play with and it makes it a huge bitch to launch without overrevving or stalling. I lubed up all the joints I could see above the gas pedal and I lubed up the thing it connects to under the hood and it didnt help. So I'm wondering is this is the throttle cable? Cause I'm about to buy one for $20 and I want to make sure.

 

I have the same problem. I lubed it up and it will help for a little but eventually will stick around 1500-2000. I plan on getting a new cable, I guess the cable is like a little stretched out over time.

 

make sure your cable isn't binding up under the hood either. Could have been rerouted a little sometime back and could be binding. And lube it up
