Default b18 wiring advice

alright so i have a 90ls motor in my 91 dx, so the guy before me converted it 2 MPFI, but i dont think he soldered the connections, just crimped n tape. looks pretty messy and my car lags. but what i was wondering is if i get a engine wiring harness for a 90-91 ls motor, and then get the wiring harness that connects the ecu to the motor, could i just rip out the wiring this guy did and just plug everything in w/o a problem????

why dont you just print up the directions on how to do the mpfi swap, and than go through your setup, and see what needs to be soldered or redone. it would probably be alot easier than trying to put another harness on.

i had to go back and double check everything that was done on my car, the person who originally did the swap did a pretty decent job except they forgot to switch the tps wires around:slap:. now my car runs great. it used to bog bad if i floored it. anyways, good luck.

sounds good ima do that, ive never messed with the mpfi shit before, but ill try. could unsoldered wires reduce performance??? i just thought it would be easy and clean looking to just have the wiring harness and just plug it in. would it basically plug in w.o modifications, if i had both the both harnesses?
