90 DX "clunk" ???
I just got back from a morning out in the girlfriends 90 DX 4dr and I notice that when the car shifted (automatic) that there was an audible "clunk" that you could 'feel' and hear. I know this is something bad...
...can someone help me out? What is this..where do I begin? Thanks.

theres many things u can check.........it could be either your engine mounts or transmision mounts...or possibly in the suspension?.........wut about when you go over bumps?..do u hear any noise?..or only when the transmission shifts?
This happens in my CRX. I believe that is is the transmission mounts in my case. I have checked and replaced the tranny fluid to be safe and checked all my motor mounts and that is not the problem. It is most likely her tranny mounts. You can either fix them or just deal with them untill the swap is ready like I am doing.

PS> She only bought the car two months ago and as far as the transmission fluid it hasn't been changed since...as far as prior to the purchase I have no idea. I have never changed transmission fluid either...how much do you need when you replace it? Any step by steps anywhere that you know of?
