personally, I wouldn't

"He who buys cheap, buys twice" is a philosphy I not only have addapted, but also have done many times. I've spend over $3k in stereo equipment over the last 2 years alone, when I could have spent half that and owned what I own now.

you live, you learn.

ok new setup idea:

2 pioneer 12" subs - 300w RMS each, 600w peak each
powered by pioneer amp - 800w peak, 150 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms, 200 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms, 400 watts RMS x 1 bridged output at 4 ohms
mdf enclosure
1000w wiring kit

all for roughly $340 brand new

I used to run two pioneer 12's. The grey/black ones, IMPP.

I listen to alot of different music, but usually, I'm bumping rock. Given that, I need alot of range, since my music isn't all in the low frequencies.

Pioneers subs are good for rap and shit that hits low. But for SQ, I would choose something else. My Kickers improved sound ten fold.

I still use a Pioneer HU, the 6400 model, but I'm considering getting something new. I'm still not happy with the clarity of the mids and highs, yet they're getting enough power.

after I clear up somemore of my debt, I'm probably gonna go alpine or JVC, maybe clarion.

i have no idea what subs you're talking about
the link for the first was ok but sounddomain licks my balls. doesn't even tell you what the impedance is the amp is at the rated power. thats ****ing retarded

and the 2 12 setup we need to know the impedance of the subs and if they are SVC or DVC

probably going to be 4 ohm (maybe 8, but definatly one or the other), and SVC.

they're the subs they sell at best buy for maybe $120 a set.
