Default speaker terminal for custom box

can anyone recommend a good speaker terminal to handle ~1000 + watts? I wasnt sure if any terminal will do (say...one from radio shack) or if i have to get an special one.

get the ones that you have to twist...not the spring loaded ones. i think those are crap.

you can always skip the terminals on the box. drill a hole for the speaker wire to go through, then seal up the hole afterwards. but there are convience drawbacks.

or hell, would it just be easier to run a hole through the box with the wire? kinda wanted a terminal, but I can manage.

Is a 0 guage necessary for what you'll be running? That is a pretty heavy load if you need that kind of guage. Hopes to find a connector that will accept 0 guage is slim to none. I was going to tell you that u could use a twin banana connector, but that's out of a question. Well if u really need to use 0 guage, you could always fabricate something.
