my amp doesn't have a red led, so now what smartazz? I hope this guy wouldn't post a thread saying NO POWER TO AMP if the damn light showing that his amp is getting power was lit up. Anyways, since everyone here but LjN gives you any credit or assumes you at least have half a brain, don't listen to him.

jordan88- the light isn't on. would the light still be on if my amp blew or my remote lead is no connected?
if u blew the amp or the remote lead wasn't connected, the light would not be on, that light just shows that the power circuit is complete, power is getting to the amp.

to answer your other questions...your amp can fry without blowing the fuse or before blowing the fuse....thats why you make sure you got the right size fuse.

if the fuses are fine, and you know that the amp is actually getting power. see if the remote turn on is the problem. get a short piece of wire, long enough to go from the power source of the amp to the remote turn on...connect the two. if the amp doesnt turn on...well you guessed it. if the amp does turn on, you know what to check next.

no. if the ground lead isn't connected, the circuit isn't completed and the amp won't power up. try plugging your lamp into the wall but before you do it, break off one of the legs on the plug, tell me if it works. It's the same thing, no ground= no power. make sure ur ground is to bare metal and is secure.
