jordan88- the light isn't on. would the light still be on if my amp blew or my remote lead is no connected?
if u blew the amp or the remote lead wasn't connected, the light would not be on, that light just shows that the power circuit is complete, power is getting to the amp.

to answer your other questions...your amp can fry without blowing the fuse or before blowing the fuse....thats why you make sure you got the right size fuse.

if the fuses are fine, and you know that the amp is actually getting power. see if the remote turn on is the problem. get a short piece of wire, long enough to go from the power source of the amp to the remote turn on...connect the two. if the amp doesnt turn on...well you guessed it. if the amp does turn on, you know what to check next.
