I know many people that have had Dual units and have never had any problems with them, so I guess its give and take and how good you take care of them.

they have horrible Eq's, bad sub woofer controls, the worst sound quality, the preamp voltage is like 1.8v, the motor will be shot in less then 6 months and that has nothing to do with "taking care of it". the picture is decent but there is a lot of other stuff that is a whole hell of a lot better.

unless you bought it for under 280$ it was a waste. even though you bought a 4 year extended warranty its only good for ONE replacement after the first year.
so that means if you need to get it replaced 10 times within the first year cool. as soon as the second year starts an it breaks again, they will replace it but you will need to RE-BUY the 4 year warranty AGAIN.

again you wasted your money while trying to save money. see my point. you should have just bought the pioneer or the kenwood and called it a day.

mr22na, stfu. He is happy and content with his unit and that is all that matters. I for one have never had problems with Dual units, and no one I know that has it has ever had a problem either. Yes, I have heard they are not the best, but they are budget and they are decent for someone who doesn't want to spend loads of money.
