If they want your car bad enough they are going to take it. My GSR has been stolen twice. I used the Club and had a Viper alarm both times.

Not really, i'll make it such a pain in the ass that they won't. The Club??? Man even I can take that off in 1 min those don't do anything but buy you seconds (trust me). Was your viper alarm a 2-way pager? I bet $100 it wasn't, no one listens to annoying alarm sounds anymore. h:

I found a reciever that'll give me a range of 3000 ft (line of sight) so you figure with walls and such maybe 2000 ft. Which is still plenty enough for what I need it for. I think the 2-3 block range was over doing it since I never park that far, 1 block away is about right.

I got all the stuff together online of what I want to buy and comes out to about $350 which isn't bad at all and the camera is video/audio with decent resolution and nice video in low lighted areas.

I'll have it set up by the end of this month or next month and post pics,etc....

i agree with saving your money. despite the bragging rights of having a wireless security camera in your car, you're not gaining very much security. you'd have to watch your cameras all night and be ready to run out the door with a shotgun to have a chance in hell of deterring any determined theif. chances are, if you put a security camera in, thats just more money the theif can get when he sells your stuff off.

First off your a fuckin moron to think i'm doing this "to look cool, getting laid, etc..."

You won't even be able to see the fuckin camera and what does installing a camera have to do with being a "ricer". You're probably the one with the fart can on your piece of shit car. You're lucky I don't know where your car is FEG. Or else I'd say "hope you have a decent alarm, a great installer and some insurance". h:

simmer down now, theres no reason to get your panties in a bunch

if preventing your car from being stolen was really your priority you would find a secure place to park it
but instead you intend on placing more valuables in the car and think that will make it less likely to get broken into?
i just don't see an in car video camera as helping prevent anything
you need to realize that you bought an integra, its a high theft car, you live somewhere with a lot of crime, its going to get stolen, bottom line, accept it
if you don't want it stolen park it somewhere safe or get a different car

good luck if you actually do it, but expect an i told you so if your stuff gets jacked and it didn't help at all, not that i hope that happens mind you

FYI i drive a civic, its stock, i get 30 mpg, i live in a middle class area in the country, i don't need to worry about my car being stolen, but i know that when i visit bigger cities i run the risk of having my car broken into, it comes with the territory of owning a car that attracts thieves
the name calling really isn't necessary BTW
