Default Beginner audio questions

hey all. im a noobie to audio so bear with me.

ok so i purchased a beater (92 accord sedan) so my integra can take a break from daily driving.

Basically I would like to put a descent audio system into it. Not anything fancy by any means.

Front speakers will be 6.5 inch and the rears will be 6x9's

just purchased this head unit

now looking at the rms(17) is pretty low and I wanted something a little higher so i would like to get a 4ch amp.

basically I dont know what rms I should be looking for from an amp. I have a friend selling a pioneer 4ch 35rms amp for 20 bucks. I just want a good one but dont want to be like damn i should of gotten higher after i just purchased one.

also what ways(3 way 4 way 5 way) speakers should i get for the front and rears? thanks all

your speakers will be 2-50rms or better, so if that amp is 35rms at 4ohms per channel it would be a good price

Thats depends on you. Having that amp will be better than using the amp in the headunit. Cant really lose for $20 h:

that's double what you have now. i ran my rear speakers on a 55rms x2 @ 4ohms and it wasn't really loud, but there was a better "quality" in the sound
