Like it's been said... you are wrong.

Completely different subs. It's all about displacement. It is very possible that the sensitivity of your sub was higher, and had more xmax (the amount that a sub moves).

That's like saying "Dude, that's wrong. My friend has 2 pyle 10's, and I have a 12" RE XXX, and mine was SO much louder".

i've had 2 10" R, and 1 12" r.... both with 1k watts, it depends on what music you listen too mostely.. the 10's are good for death metal..... the 12 is good for everything else

Theres more to an answer about car audio than, "get 2 10s bro! they rad~~!"

I appreciate the fact that there are folks here who do understand the technical aspect and is willing to share that knowledge. Its interesting to learn. If the 12" already sounded perfect to you...get it :dunno: They are your ears. If you like em, thats all that matters.

10s are going to have better response then the one twelve but 2 of them would have more bass then 1 12 in most cases. i would suggest getting 1 good 10 if you listen to most rock. A good set of 6X9s should really do the trick if you get an amp for them.
