What exactly are you looking for? SQ? SPL? or mixture of both?

i just want something with some good kick to it to fill in the low notes my speakers cant handle, for a clear sound and no ridiculous amounts of bass.

two 10x are going to play rock music better than a 12 because they can move quicker and rock music doesn't really hit very low. a 12 would be better to have if you listen to more rap and hip hop

i would get two rockford fosgate stage one 10s and a 325.1 amp, and a sealed box. if you buy this stuff of e-bay it won't come with a warranty, but it will save you about 150-200 bucks. I bought 2 RF stage 1 12s a 325.1, a 2 farad Massive cap, and a sealed box. if you want to know where i bought my stuff from just pm me.

2 10" subwoofers = more cone surface area than one 12" so technicaly two 10" woofers have the potential to give out more bass than one 12"
that is wrong, technically it may sound right, but it is wrong. my buddy had 2 Memphis 10s and i had one rockford 12 and mine hit lower and harder than his did, and was louder

You cant compare the two like that.

-Different subs
-Different enclosure design
-Different power supply
-Different car.

God damnit, this is SO WRONG. For the 4000th time, the size of the cone doesn't dictate it's "Quickness". cone size and accuracy are so unrelated it's ridiculous.
