Default Boxes For My 6x9's

Ive got 2 JL 6X9's I need to make a box for them! How much volume should i have per box? and should I port them?

i dont think 6x9 need a specific volume like a sub does.

if you look at the 6x9 in cars, they dont have a box around them, they are free-air, basically.

if you want a box for them, crutchfield has boxes, see if you can find the volume of those.

I'm thinking 0.3-0.4cu ft should be plenty

im with will, i don't think the volume of the box is going to make much of a difference if any.

Ya, I started to think about that... I mean they usualy just sit inbetween your trunk and back window! The thing is... Ive got a 90DX hatchback! **** I am tryin to figure out were to put them!

if u thought of that then why the **** u ask??:stupid:

look at JL specs... dumb ass..... lol 6x9 aren't subs.... so it doesn't really matter. any box will make ur 6x9 sound good.
