Default amp settings

if i want tighter bass outta a sealed box, what is the setting on the amp that i should adjust? my 2 12" are too boomy for me. i've read the manual but it doesn't explain what each setting is for if u know anything about this or Alpine mrd-m500 amp please help me out

turn the bass down on the deck... or step down to a single 12 or 2 10's

i just got those 12" and i love them. i won't go back to 10" unless i have a beatle

do you have a bass boost knob on the amp. or an eq knob? if you do then turn it down. i hate thoes things.
