Default cam gear settings & timing changes??

Putting in a JDM h22a1 into my 95 Prelude.
planning on setting my SKUNK2 cam gears @
3deg advanced on intake
6deg Retard on exhaust
as my baseline settings-

will be doing dyno runs in about 4-5weeks.
should I get minimal to moderate improvements in
HP, Torque and Exhaust tone w/ these settings??

also will I need to make any compensatory timing adjustments
to go along w/ these cam gear settings?

I think this is basically a trial and error thing. You can't predict what's going to happen when your changing the timing of your valve's opening. Your going to be creating more overlap which may turn out to really benifiet you all though you may want to reasearch how much overlap your engine has already, because it you go to much you might actually start pulling some exhaust gas back in, or losing some of your air fuel mixture. I'm also an idiot i'm just trying to give some insight I may be a little off.

I would just leave everything set to stock until you get the car on the dyno.
