your best bet is to have someone or yourself check the wiring. i have a feeling its the alarm brain but it could be just a bad ground for the brain. i think anything i or anyone else says it just speculation. it would be better to just get a look at things.

i have an idea....

maybe since the alarm/remote start f'ed up.. it restarted itself and neither transmitters are actually connected to the receiver... maybe i have to re-program the transmitters to the alarm???
think this could be a problem?

well.. ill give it a try and update you in the morning... i also talked to the person who installed it.. he said it may either be the brain (like you said) or a bad ground wire.. so if re-programming the transmitters doesnt work tomorrow, i will be taking an hour dive to see whats wrong with it.

the thing is, i really need an alarm on my car, ive witnessed a handfull of people looking at my car at night, and this is why the alarm is so sensitive, even thunder sets it off. Ive been followed home, not knowing until i get home.. its kind of scary to see people looking at your car and what not late at night/early mornings, when no1's around.. its gotten me really paranoid

alright.. so the alarm is working, all that was needed was to reprogram the remote, and the alarm worked.. which is a good thing.. but i tried the remote start.. it froze back up so there is something wrong with the remote start...

so now im wondering, if its just the remote start brain? or maybe a loose wire here? ground wire maybe? fuse? what would cause this?
At least now, i have pinpointed it to the remote start being the problem..

once again, thanks for all your help.. maybe this will help more.

it doesnt even flash the parking lights anymore.. i press it to start, and it has a brain fart, and doesnt do anything... then i have to re-program the transmitter
