2ohm vs 4ohm type r's
so based on article 58 since i'm only running one sub my total resistence will not be lower than 2ohms so i should stick with the 4ohm+4ohm (2ohm) sub which i have..if i were running two i should get the 4 ohm subs..
If you want the amp to run at 2 OHM so you can get the most power out of it:
-1 4 OHM sub wired in parallel will net 2 OHMs
-2 2 OHM subs. Wire each sub in series to get a pair of 4 OHM subs. Then wire the two subs together in parallel to get 2 OHMs.

Yea. When you see a sub advertised as 4 ohm, they mean the voicecoil is 4 ohm...whether there is 1 or 2.
