Well what my plans are is I just wanted something to make my box thump. I was also hoping to get an amp in that price range I mentioned or a little cheaper if it has a built in fan. I'm not big on knowing systems like that as far as ohms etc. I had some people say get a amp just for the box & let my head unit run my other speakers. I just don't think my radio alone will make my 6.5's be loud enough so my sub won't drown out my sound. For what I described should I get a Kicker,Infinity or Mtx. I was going to go to either Circuit City or Best Buy.

Given the options, the order of preference is Kicker, MTX, and Infinity.

However, I'd seriously consider other options than what's at Best Buy and Circuit City.

So what's some places I should look at then. Or should I just go to some of these shops that sells wheels & systems that would have those amps etc??? Thanks

best buy and circuit city dont have the greatest selections from what i've seen. Also the best buys around me as well as circuit city tend to not have their subs and amps working, for what reason i have no clue.
