Default Locking Hoodpins? Help

yo i got some really cool locking hoodpins that i want installed cause im im chickensht to drill two 3/4" inch holes in my hood and end up making a mess. thing is i want them to keep people out of the engine area where they can cut my alarm wire.(cheap code alarm from circuit city) so its like something that i ned to get done very soon but i dont know where to go to have someone install them. Am i just stuck installing them my self.

like any shop that does custom auto work was my idea too but the ones around me that ive found so far want lik a hundred to do like 15 minutes of work

Well, they are going to be taking a risk drilling, and cutting your hood... So thats probably why they charge so much...

Yea, but look at the alternative, try it yourself, if u succeed you saved yourself $100, if u dont, u cost yourself $400 for a new hood... If u have faith in yourself, and a dremel go for it... If not, I wouldnt try it... I plan on installing mine myself... But thats cuz I have some experience with a dremel tool...

yea im sure i can do it myself dremel is a good idea i was just gonna drill it with a metal bit do they make a dremel bit that is 3/4" that can go through metal

Well, I was gonna use a drill with a metal bit for my frame (on my radiator support), and then a small bit to drill thru the hood, and then use the dremel tool, I forgot what the attachment is called, to make the whole bigger till its big enough... Heres the how to I plan on using...

Yours will be different because you have locking pins... But the drilling should be the same... I think I saw a how-to somewhere on locking pins lemme look...

K here, its for an MX6, but should be similar on yours...
