I don't know **** about improving a cars stereo.
I have a few questions for anyone here who has the knowledge and good advice.
I have a '00 Prelude and I want to upgrade my stereo?
The clarity after 2 years has gone to ****.
I don't want a heavy box in the trunk, and I don't want to change the headunit or anything like that.
And I have AEM Pulleys, which I here are detrimental to a stereo.
Anyway, what can I buy to receive better sound clarity and a louder system?

 

get rid of the bottleneck, the deck.

if you want better sound, that and replacing the stock speakers.

 

Very true, just by getting a good deck you will notice big time sq improvement. Replacing the oem speakers is always good too.

 

how can you improve ur car stereo without replacing the stock hu and speakers?

 

my opinion, new hu and amp and speakers
HU and speakers alone sounds too aweful cuz the lack of power.
