Default Question about civic ecu upgrades oem

as you all might know i have a 96 y8 AT, is there an OEM ECU i can swap in to my car that will give me some power? do they have jdm ecus for AT b18c1s or b18c5s?

There was an auto B18C, but I wouldn't count on finding one of those ECUs. It wouldn't be worth the bother anyway, if your engine can't handle the extra fuel and revs it will only hurt the overall performance. Running rich is a bad thing. I'm not 100% sure, but I would think running a D16Y8 with a B18C ECU would lead to one very confused and poor running system.

well i have an S-AFC for fuel tuning but i dont think i could ever find the b18c AT ecu anyway..lol

If you already have an S-AFC, why do you even want to bother with another ECU?
