Need alarm for my new ride 02civicSI my budget is about 200. Im lookin to buy the alarm on Ebay than a friend of a friend is goin to help me installed it. This is my first ride that I need an alarm for so I really dont know what types are the best... N E suggestions would be great... Thanks :booty:

 

DEI is a big manufacturer of alarms. Anything made by them would be good. Avital, Viper, to name a couple. I have an avital in my Legend. Remote start, trunk release, keyless entry. You can get an avital with keyless entry, shock sensor, etc. for $200 installed at Best Buy. It will only take a couple hours to install, plus you can go back to them if you have any problems. I wouldn't try installing it yourself unless your friend has experience.

 

if you are gonna buy it deffinetly get it installed at best buy or other retail or specialty stores. unless the friend of a friend is mecp certified
