Default Wiring DVC Subs

What is "better" in wiring a DVC sub? Wiring the voice coils in Parallel or Series? or does it make no difference at all?

btw, this is going to be wired to a single channel, so no separate channel for each voice coil. THANKS!

depends on the sub's coil config and the amp being used...some more info would be helpful in this case...what specific equipment will you be using.

JL Audio has a pretty good DVC wiring FAQ under thier tutorials section at their site...

there is no better....it depends on your amp. you have to match the impedance of the subs to it.

buy the amp you want then get the sub to work with what ever amp you get.

you gotta look at both to see how good they will mate with each other.
