Default g3 teg rear speaker location (subs)

Has anyone successfully put subs in the rear speaker location of gen3 integras?

I'm thinking of customizing boxes to accomodate JL8w3's to fit there.

hmm.... 8's in the doors. I've already put MB Quart Premium Ref component coax's in the doors. And I don't think I can build a box that'll fit in the doors...

Crutchfield says that I have 6"s of mounting depth in the rear speaker location. I figure an 8" sub has about 4-4.5 inches of mounting depth... therefore, I can just barely fit a box in there.

I still have to take the panels off.... see what I'm dealing with here.
