Building Accord Motor Tech Help Needed
i just got a F22B2 block from a friend it came out of a 96 accord LX someone warped the deck and i asked my auto teacher and he said that it could be machined and be used. ok my problem- i dont want a dinky SOHC VTEC head and to my knowledge they didnt make a DOHC VTEC head on the accord except the accord euro-R which i think had the prelude H22A1 in it. I was lookin around the web to see what i could do and i came across a site that said that the head from a H22 could be put on my F22 block. i emailed the site and got no response. they claimed that they could put on there but i wanna know if it really can be done and what i need to do to do it. and i was also wondering what constitutes what ECU i use in my car it'll be an accord block with a prelude head. any thoughts? thanks for reading any help will be well appreciated.
I did some reserach on the net about diff heads and all my sources said that u can't change heads with different engine serries. no H to F but B to B is ok... I'm sure u could still change the head but that would require custom everything.

Thanks

The F-series is swappable between themselves as long as you stay away from the SOHC Vtec motor. I think.....I'm open to corrections. Nightshade?
