mine does the same thing, d4 light comes on when u turn to ignition but turns off later on after all other lights turn off, so i think its normal we all just didnt notice? because it doesnt flash and it doesnt stay on, 94 accord lx here.

i just checked on my bros integra, same shit happens d4 lights up when u turn on but turns off, as long as it doesnt stay on and/or blink then you should be fine, just ya'll overthinking that got me a tad worried :-p

Same here. my 1993 Accord does the same thing with the D4 light when starting and turning it off. No problems with transmission. Perhaps it is a trick by Honda to get you to get your tranmission serviced.
