my only belly ache is heat retention. Painted calipers will retain more heat and put more heat in your braking system, and would fail faster than not painted. Before you say "well what about porsches and such?" those are powder coated or anodized, powder coating disappates heat better than bare metal itself.

i've been callin around today for powerder coating, the best price i got was around 150 total, for 4 calipers and a valve cover, and this includes beed or sand blasting it to clean and prep for powder coating, so i might do that instead, hehe get a nice porshe red calipers and valve cover

yea..i have all 4 calipers here, 2 new calipers for my v6 wagon upgrade, and 2 used for my rear disk conversion upgrade, so i'll just clean them up and have them powder coated with my valve cover.
