Could this work ... ??
hey....
i got some after-market projectors, and the bulb size for the low beam is h1 .. now my question is, since my stock wiring harness for the low beam headlight bulb is 9006, and obviously the 9006 headlight bulb wont fit in the h1 projector spot, and the wire harness for the h1 HID kit is going to be a for a h1 stock headlight harness, can i cut both wire harness' off and just connect the positive and the negative together? .. would that work? or would that be a problem..?
thanks

When you say connect both pos and neg together,.. what do you mean??
If you mean you just wanna connect new harnesses, so that they'll fit the housing, then it might work.
You might have some problems with wires melting in the long run, but if you do it correctly, like using fuses and the right size guage wire, you shouldnt have any problems.
hey
ok, ill try and re-phrase my question ..
my idea was to cut off the stock harness connector for the low beam on the headlight, and cut the harness off the HID kit... the 2 main power wires for the ballasts, and just twist the stock positive and negative wires to the HID kit positive and negative wires ... so it just powers up the kit .. i think it would work...
